We have drawn you a cycling map and from Friday PM until the end of Sunday, a special cycle friendly route will be way-marked from Penrith (starting at the rail station) to the Lowther event village site, by-passing the busy A66. Please take care whilst riding and have a safe trip to Lowther! Just follow the “Bike Fest This Way signs!”

Cumbria - The Lake District is served by a number of airports. With direct rail services to the area, Manchester is the most convenient airport. However if you are hiring a car, Blackpool airport is just 40 minutes away and Newcastle, Glasgow and Liverpool airports are all within a two hour drive of the area.
